Iran national weightlifting team for the World Weightlifting Championships 2015

Iran weightlifting team for 2015 World Weightlifting Championships is announced.

Behdad Salimi is not participating due to an injury, Bahador Moulaei will represent Iran in the superheavyweight division.

The team members are:

• -62 kg: Majid Askari (2011 Asian silver medalist, 2015 - bronze medalist)

• -69 kg: Jaber Behrouzi (2013 Champion of Asia)

• -77 kg: Rasoul Taghian (2013 Champion of Asia)

• -85 kg: Kianoush Rostami (Olympic bronze medalist 2012, twice Champion of the World)

• -94 kg: Ali Hashemi (2015 Asian Championships bronze medalist) + Sohrab Moradi (twice champion of Asia)

• -105 kg: Navab Nasirshelal (Olympic vice-Champion 2012)

• +105 kg: Bahador Moulaei (2013 World vice-Champion, twice vice-Champion of Asia)

Kianoush Rostami (-85 kg)
